Rohan Sinha is a Software Development Engineer (SDE-1) at Amazon, with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from BITS Pilani, Hyderabad Campus. He is a highly motivated and skilled individual with a passion for software engineering and blockchain technology. Currently, Rohan is working as a Software Intern at the National Informatics Centre (NIC), Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India. His project involves creating an application to store educational certificates using a blockchain network. The blockchain network serves as an immutable ledger of certificates that can be updated only by the authorities, preventing fraud and tampering with fake certificates. For this project, Rohan chose Hyperledger Fabric as the building platform and used GoLang to make the API. The application allows students to access a verified copy of their certificate from any part of the world, which is useful while applying for higher education or jobs. Before joining NIC, Rohan worked as Joint Secretary at Hindi Literary Club and Core Team Member at Computer Science Association, both at BITS Pilani, Hyderabad Campus. These experiences helped him develop strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of teamwork. Rohan's education history includes a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from BITS Pilani, Hyderabad Campus, which he is expected to complete in December 2022. He also completed his Senior Secondary School education from Air Force Bal Bharati School in 2017. Rohan's technical skills include software engineering, blockchain, and GoLang. He has 2.95 years of relevant experience in the field of software engineering. Rohan is a dedicated and hardworking individual who is always eager to learn and grow in his career.
