Rohan Verma is a passionate entrepreneur with a mission to make the world a better place. He is an Electrical Engineer from Stanford and holds an MBA from London Business School. With deep interests in technology for social good, maps, location, IoT, automotive, mobility, electric vehicles, health, and sustainability, Rohan has become an expert in driving corporate strategy/growth, sales/marketing, product and technology/innovation. Rohan became an entrepreneur in 2004, at the age of 19, when he got involved with his family's mapping and technology business in India and helped start its consumer focus, MapmyIndia. As CEO, he primarily drives corporate strategy/growth, sales/marketing, product and technology/innovation, and through his 14+ year experience with the company at various stages of its evolution has focused on bringing significant benefits of maps and location technologies to individuals, businesses, and governments. In 2015, Rohan got involved as an investor and advisor with Visit, a fantastic tech-driven on-demand high-quality healthcare service. In 2018, he built the Infidreams app, an inspiration-to-action tech-enabled platform that helps you verbalize, visualize, and get inspired by your dreams, hopes, goals, ambitions, wants, needs, etc. and then move down the path of actually making those dreams come true through easy and effective planning, action, monitoring, and collaboration. In 2019, Rohan became a Board Member (Independent Director) of Cholamandalam Investment and Finance Company Limited (Chola), a market-leading publicly listed company with assets under management above INR 47,700 Crores. As a Board Member (Independent Director) at Chola, Rohan has the privilege and honor of advising the company and management on technology and IT strategy, and seeks to help them leverage technology, phygital (physical + digital), and new-age business innovations that can drive future success and growth of the organization.
