Rohini Sankapal is a highly experienced Product Manager with a passion for creating intuitive solutions and services in complex tech ecosystems. With over 16 years of relevant experience, she has worked with top companies such as SAP, IBM, and Yahoo. Currently, she is working as a Product Management - Cloud Services, SaaS at VMware, where she is leading Product Management efforts on new Multi-Cloud and SaaS pathways. Rohini's career started in programming and engineering, and she has gradually evolved into Product, Program, and Operations (Web, Mobile, and Cloud), Services, and Strategy. She is known for her leadership skills, having hired, led, and scaled teams in Engineering and Product. She is also a Product Management instructor and coach, passionate about mentoring early and mid-level PM professionals and facilitating hubs focused on career progress for women. In addition to her professional achievements, Rohini is a travel enthusiast, child rights activist, potter, yoga instructor, and crossfitter. She is also a reliable go-getter with high work ethic and excellent analytical and people skills, along with a sense of humor to positively tide through challenging times. Rohini's tech stack includes product management, AWS, Blockchain, Azure, Mobile, Web, AI, DevOps, Integration, and Senior Software Engineer. She has led Product Management efforts on Synfini deployable on AWS, providing Blockchain customers access to the Australian Stock Exchange's DLT. She has also reported to the VP Enterprise Cloud on Strategic Cloud Initiatives at Hitachi and has been a founding member of Women of Hitachi.
