Rohit Agrawal is an experienced Software Engineer with a demonstrated history of working in the information technology and services industry. He has a strong skillset in Object Oriented Design, Python, R, SQL, AWS, and C++. Currently, he is working as a Senior Software Engineer at OakNorth, where he is responsible for designing and developing backend microservices using Python 3.x, GraphqL, and Postgres SQL. He has also designed Peer Analysis functionality, which fetched data through different APIs like Elastic Search, Data Platform APIs, and provided analysis among peers. Rohit has developed multiple endpoints for the frontend microservice to provide all the analytical data for better user experience and faster performance. He has also created a Benchmarking borrower performance module that compares borrower performance vs. companies with similar business models and scale. Prior to his current role, Rohit worked as a Software Developer at Teradata, where he provided features offered by Teradata Vantage Ecosystem in Python and R languages to the clients. He worked on features designing in Python and R like FastLoad, FastExport, NOS, Model Cataloging, and several data manipulation features. Rohit always tried to develop a POC whenever working on the design part and did brainstorm sessions of design to discuss with PM and architects. He also developed/upgraded Python (teradataml)/R (tdplyr) functions to access data from Teradata Vantage, functions for data manipulation, etc. Rohit has also developed MLE (machine learning engine) and VAL (Vantage analytics library) analytic functions for scoring, testing the models. Rohit has a PG Diploma in Data Science from IIIT Bangalore, a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Electrical, Electronic and Communications Engineering Technology/Technician from RGPV, and a certification in Embedded Systems from Vector India Hyderabad. He is skilled in various technologies like Microservices, Docker, Elastic Search, ML, Ansible, Django, Jenkins, Data Warehouse, Data Scientist, Pandas, MySQL, Azure, and Integration.
