Rohit Anand is a highly skilled Data Scientist with a passion for coding, machine learning, data science, mathematics, and statistics. Rohit is an expert in playing with data and extracting significant insights from it, making him a valuable asset to any team. Currently working at inmobi as a Data Scientist I, Rohit has worked on hyperparameter optimization for performing A/B experiments on the Roposo platform for Tamil language. He has also built a system for exploration and exploitation based on Thompson Sampling for a given story on the Roposo platform. Rohit's expertise also extends to building a seasonality model that can capture trends on the Shop101 app. In the past, Rohit has worked at JP Morgan as a software developer, where he established financial data feeds, developed frontend web applications, and worked on data visualization with Perspective. He has also worked as an intern at Nautical Wings, where he gained a high-level understanding of the interaction between hardware and software interfaces. Rohit worked on different computer vision algorithms for developing a system of object recognition and detection that were integrated with the flight controller for controlling the UAVs vision mode of operation. Rohit's education background includes a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science from Vishveshwaraiah Technological University. He is a tech stack expert in Data Science, Research Science, ML, Mobile, Hyperparameter, Deep Learning, Web, Software Engineering, and Computer Vision. With 2.19 years of relevant experience, Rohit is a life-long learner who is always fond of deriving special meaning from data and using his technical skills to implement them in real-life scenarios.
