Rohit Angolkar is a passionate Senior Software Engineer at PathPartner Technology (KPIT group) with over 5 years of relevant experience in embedded systems technology. He is specialized in embedded.linux, C/C++, RTOS, Kernel device drivers, and has a Post Graduation Dip. degree in Embedded System Design. Currently, Rohit is working on a kernel memory optimization and camera pipelining project. He has also submitted an industrial-based project, "Smart Tool Monitoring System," based on the RTOS kernel design to CDAC KP Bangalore for PGDESD course. Before joining PathPartner Technology, Rohit worked as an Electrical Design Engineer in the CNC products manufacturing industry, where he specialized in Electrical design of Swiss type lathe (Sliding Headstock CNC machines). Rohit's current role at PathPartner Technology as a Senior Software Engineer involves working on arm64 architecture, TI-J7evm, Linux kernel device drivers, Linux Test Project Integration, sensor bring up, board bring up, GNU debugger, and kernel side bugs handling. Rohit's past experience includes working as an Embedded Software Engineer at PathPartner Technology and as an Electrical Design Engineer at Galaxy Machinery Pvt. Ltd., where he was responsible for Electrical Design/Ladder logic programming of CNC machines. Rohit's educational background includes a Post Graduation Diploma in Embedded Systems Design from C-DAC and a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Vishveshwaraiah Technological University. He also holds a Diploma in Electrical, Electronic and Communications Engineering Technology from K.L.S Shri Vasantrao Potdar Polytechnic, Belgaum, and an S.S.L.C from St. Xavier's High School, Belgaum.
