Rohit Bhat is a highly skilled Technical Architect with over 11 years of experience in the field of Data Engineering and Software Development. Currently, he is working as a Lead Data Engineer at tredence, where he is responsible for designing and implementing complex data solutions to meet business requirements. Prior to his current role, Rohit worked as a Technical Architect and Lead Software Engineer at electrifai, where he designed and led an 8-member software team for migrating legacy ETL systems to a multi-tenant-based Hadoop system. He optimized the memory and run time by more than 50%, and added analytics functionality to support new use-cases. Additionally, he created a Hadoop-based Data Pipeline for ingesting, cleansing, fuzzy matching, and householding vendor data with over 750MM records and 1700 attributes. He also created the backend of an AI-powered analytics dashboard for dynamic querying in natural language and surfacing anomalies using Spring MVC, Solr, and REST APIs. Rohit holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from BITS Pilani, where he graduated in 2012. He also completed his Class XI - XII education from D G Ruparel Junior College and his schooling from I.E.S Manik Vidyamandir.
