Rohit Bora is a highly motivated and experienced Network Engineer with over 12 years of experience in Network Engineering, Automation, DevOps, Network Security & Operations. He has a strong technical background and a deep interest in Network Engineering, making him a capable and experienced network expert. Currently working at Infosys as a Network Engineer, Rohit has successfully designed, implemented, and managed reliable, scalable, and creative network solutions for a wide range of infrastructure on-prem and cloud. He has extensive troubleshooting and debugging experience on Network Security Manager Appliance (NSM EXPRESS) and Intrusion Detection & Prevention (IDP) device, and hands-on experience on a range of Netscreen/SSG/ISG firewalls. Rohit has handled escalations, high priority (P1) and critical customer case ownership, and replicated customer environments using their database & configurations in the lab, documenting the procedures and coordinating fixes by the engineering department. He has also been responsible for training new project entrants & writing knowledge base articles, and has experience with troubleshooting on 100+ enterprise networks and over 500+ technical cases. Previously, Rohit worked at Juniper Networks as a Network Security Engineer, where he was promoted as a Level-2 Support Engineer in the Juniper Technical Assistance Center (JTAC) team. He was awarded an onsite visit to Juniper Networks, Sunnyvale, CA, where he had an opportunity to work with the advanced support team (Level-3 JTAC) to work on high priority cases. Rohit also worked at LinkedIn as a Network Operations Intern, where he was part of the Network Operations team responsible for designing & building the corporate & production network for LinkedIn. Rohit holds a Master of Science degree in Computer Networks from San Jose State University. He has a strong TechStack in DevOps and infra, and has relevant experience of 13.20 years.
