Rohit Choudhary is an experienced entrepreneur and product engineering leader with a passion for big data, performance engineering, mobile advertising, and real-time collaboration products. With over 17 years of relevant experience, he has built and managed high-performance teams in both startup and enterprise environments. Currently, Rohit is the Founder and CEO of Acceldata.io, where he is building the world's only Multidimensional Data Observability Cloud for the modern Data Stack. He is leading the company's efforts to provide enterprises with the capabilities of stewardship, governance, and data exploration through their hybrid Hadoop Datalakes. Before founding Acceldata.io, Rohit served as the Director of Engineering at Hortonworks, where he conceptualized and led the development of a new line of business, Dataplane Services, a next-generation BigData Management platform for Hybrid Hadoop Datalakes. He also conceptualized and led the next-generation application development and integration platform for big-data applications through Dataplane Core. Additionally, he enhanced Apache Zeppelin, rebuilt Ambari interaction components, and hired and led an exceptional engineering group at Hortonworks India, working with global counterparts in a completely open-source, distributed collaborative setting. Prior to Hortonworks, Rohit served as a Senior Engineering Manager at 24/7.ai, where he drove multiple product engineering initiatives in the assisted voice and chat space. His product portfolio included operational analytics, customer experience frameworks, real-time integrated voice solutions, and social platforms. Rohit holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Information Science from Vishveshwaraiah Technological University and attended Delhi Public School for his secondary education. He is well-versed in a variety of technologies, including Spark, Hadoop, AI, mobile, Apache Hive, integration, and infrastructure.
