Rohit Dandamudi is a passionate Software Engineer with a strong interest in open source and communities. He specializes in backend engineering and cloud-native technologies, and has a wealth of experience in various programming languages such as Python, Erlang, and Rust. Currently, Rohit is a CNCF Mentee (Tremor) at cncf, where he has contributed to a CNCF sandbox project called Tremor by writing property-based tests for their custom language, tremor-script covering various language functionality it offers. His experience in functional programming and EQC has been instrumental in his success in this role. Prior to this, Rohit worked as a Software Engineer at JP Morgan, where he developed an internal automatic ticket assignment tool from scratch. This tool was designed to increase efficiency and reduce allocation time for the company. He utilized Python, Flask, Datalake, Servicenow API, and Logs in this project. Rohit has also worked as an Open Source Contributor at Metabrainz Foundation, where he extended his GSoC work on SpamBrainz and worked on the CritiqueBrainz platform. Rohit holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science from Chaitanya Bharathi Institute of Technology, where he gained valuable experience in software engineering and backend development.
