Currently working as a Software Engineer 3 (Data Engineer) at PayPal, Rohit has previously worked as a Senior Data Engineer at Tokopedia, where he worked on Smart Trigger to send alerts to customers using BigQuery, Airflow, and Python. He also created a pipeline to ingest data from different apps into BigQuery using Apache Beam and Java. Prior to this, Rohit worked as a Senior Software Developer at Innovaccer, where he built resilient, data-centric products leveraging Spark and Scala for the United States Healthcare industry. He integrated Sisense, a BI tool, for visualization of healthcare analytical data and worked on finding the health risk of patients using Scala and Spark. He also worked with AWS EMR to schedule and execute multiple Spark Jobs to increase the proficiency of delivering analytical output. Rohit holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the LNM Institute of Information Technology and has completed his education in 2017. He also attended Kendriya Vidyalaya from 2003 to 2012. With over 6.70 years of relevant experience, Rohit's technical skills include Data Engineering, Software Engineering, AWS, Spark, Python, Big Data, MySQL, Search, Scala, Apache Airflow, and Integration.
