Rohit Jagre is a highly skilled Technical Lead with over 5 years of relevant experience in the field of software engineering. He is currently working at Elucidata, where he manages the Data Infrastructure of their platform, which has grown 5x in the past year. His primary responsibility is to ensure that the infrastructure is always up for ingestion and querying, along with building and maintaining Data Infrastructure APIs used by both internal teams to build applications on top. Rohit's expertise lies in building scalable software on the cloud that is extendable and cost-effective. He and his team are always looking for ways to improve their software and make it more efficient. He has a deep understanding of various technologies, including Python, AWS, Javascript, AngularJS, SQL, Elastic Search, ECS, dotNET, Docker, ASP.NET, MSSQL, and Web. During his tenure at Elucidata, Rohit has achieved several milestones, including managing the Data Infrastructure while it scaled 5x in the past year and architected and implemented the scaling of ETL pipeline, which processes 10x more datasets with a 70% reduction in costs. He has also built and maintained APIs used by internal teams to build applications on top of the Data Platform. Before joining Elucidata, Rohit worked as a Software Engineer, where he designed and developed the Data Metrics Dashboard completely for Product Marketing in a tight deadline. He also built the Frontend (Angular) of Polly Workspaces & Discover, Backend APIs and improved the CICD Pipeline for their Frontend Monorepo with custom base images for reducing build time. Rohit holds a PG-DAC degree from the Centre for Development of Advanced Computing and a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science from Shri Balaji Institute of Technology & Management. He is a Research Scientist and has a deep understanding of various domains.
