Rohit Jain is a highly motivated and skilled SWE-II at Rubrik with a strong background in computer science. He is a 2021 graduate from the prestigious Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, where he pursued a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science. He has a relevant experience of 2.11 years in the field of software engineering, Python, CNN, Pandas, Pytorch, and Android.Currently, Rohit is an Intern at Harva Xpo, where he worked on a Case Study on ‘Indian Handicrafts’. He analyzed the potential problems among the local artisans in India and identified the opportunities and threats involved in the industry. He proposed sustainable and scalable solutions to expand the industry. His work has been highly appreciated by the organization.In the past, Rohit has worked as a Summer Research Intern at the Institute of Genomics and Integrative Biology (IGIB), where he worked under Dr. Mitali Mukherjee, Chief Scientist, CSIR-IGIB. He worked on phenotypic data consisting of nominal and ordinal features and modeled them into numeric values using entropy function (information theory). He used these values to perform clustering and stratification of healthy individuals into different classes as defined in Ayurveda Sciences. He integrated the above models into a web app for data visualization, which is being used by the organization for further research in the field of Precision Medicine. His tech stack at IGIB included Python, Pandas, and Numpy.Rohit also worked as a Creative Designer at TEDxBITSPilani, where he was responsible for designing the marketing collaterals and branding materials for the event.Rohit has a strong passion for technology and is always keen on learning new skills.
