Rohit is a seasoned software developer with over 5 years of experience in the industry. He is currently working as a Sr R&D Engineer II at Synopsys Inc, where he is a part of the Build System and Platforms team. Rohit is passionate about automating tasks and designing solutions that alleviate customer pain points. Rohit has extensive experience in the complete SDLC process, Agile/Scrum development, and Test Driven Development. He has developed complex applications using Object Oriented Perl and shell scripting. Rohit has also worked on infrastructure projects like "Building complete codebase with C++17" and has experience with infrastructure like "distcc, IncrediBuild" to improve build efficiency of the project. Rohit is a team player and has the ability to work in a team as well as contribute as an individual. He has mentored and coached new team members and conducted code walkthroughs and reviews with team members. Rohit has also interacted with clients to analyze their requirements, understand the problems, and propose solutions. In his previous role as a Senior Software Engineer at MathWorks, Rohit built the complete codebase with the C++17 standard for all platforms. He also converted non-C++17 compliant code to adhere to the C++17 standard and used tools/scripts to make similar changes for repeated failures. Rohit analyzed and removed warnings that were affecting a lot of source code. Rohit has a Master of Technology (M.Tech.) in Information Security from IIIT Delhi and a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Computer Science from Shri Shankaracharya Engineering College. He also completed his H.S.S.C. from D.B. Science College, Gondia, and his High School from Adarsh Vidyalaya, Tatibandh, Raipur(c.g.).
