Rohit Kumar is a skilled software engineer with a passion for open-source development. With over 2 years of relevant experience, he has worked with some of the biggest names in the tech industry, including Google and Amazon. He is currently working as a software engineer at Yugabyte, where he is involved in kickstarting the company's new product: Yugabyte Cloud. During his time at Amazon, Rohit worked on a prioritization algorithm for boxes inside Amazon warehouses, which helped to place the most important items in stock from where they can be shipped easily. At Google, he developed a software that measures typing latency on display devices, which helps to determine how much time it takes for a keypress to appear on the screen. Rohit has a degree in integrated post-graduation in Information Technology from IIITM and completed his 12th from Kendriya Vidyalaya in Computer Science. He is proficient in Python, C++, and Julia-based development ecosystems, and has experience in CI/CD, testing, integration, and backend development. Rohit is passionate about sharing his experiences and knowledge with the community and regularly blogs about his experiences to help others.
