Rohit Lad is a skilled Data Analyst and Machine Learning Engineer with a passion for mathematics and problem-solving. With over 4 years of relevant experience, he has worked with various companies and gained expertise in developing and modeling control strategies for components of HVAC, implementing models for HVAC components, and testing these models for expected behavior. Currently working at Airbus as a Machine Learning Engineer, Rohit is responsible for designing and developing machine learning models to solve complex problems in aviation. He is well-versed in using ML algorithms and techniques to analyze large datasets and provide insights that drive business decisions. Prior to his current role, Rohit worked as a Hiwi (Wissenschaftliche Hilfskraft) at EON Energy Research (RWTH Aachen), where he developed and modeled control strategies for components of HVAC like room temperature control, boiler, etc. He also implemented several models for HVAC components like Cooling Towers, Mixing Circuits, Non-Mixing circuits, and tested these models for expected behavior. Rohit has a Master’s Degree in Simulation Sciences from RWTH Aachen University, where he gained in-depth knowledge of simulation techniques and their applications. He also holds a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Mechanical Engineering from BITS Pilani, Goa, and a Higher Secondary School Certificate in Science from Vivekanand College, Kolhapur. In addition to his academic qualifications, Rohit has a strong TechStack that includes ML, Research Scientist, and test. He is a quick learner and always eager to explore new technologies and tools.
