Rohit Maurya is a highly skilled Software Engineer with a passion for learning and solving real-world problems using technology. With almost 5 years of relevant experience, he has gained expertise in a wide range of technologies including Spark, Javascript, ML, Microservices, Search, Backend, Spring, Apache Hive, Spring Boot, Apache Airflow, NodeJS, Java, Docker, MySQL, and MongoDB. Currently, Rohit is working as a Software Engineer at Money View, where he has designed and implemented services for real-time disbursal of loans, and a microservice with multi-tenancy support for integrations of partner banks. He has also worked on integrations of partner banks and developed an exceptions and alerting framework for proactive actions on system failures. His contributions have reduced TAT from 6 to 2 weeks, making the process faster and more efficient. In his previous role as a Software Development Engineer at Paytm, Rohit designed and developed an ML-based service for confirmation prediction of waitlisted train tickets. He also designed and implemented a data pipeline using Apache Spark to parse, clean, and move logs to Hive, and implemented Spark Jobs for feature extraction from raw logs. Additionally, he developed backend APIs using the Express.js framework and worked on improving train search between stations. Rohit holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Information Technology from the Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT), where he graduated in 2018.
