Rohit Mitra is a seasoned Senior Software Engineering Manager with over 11 years of relevant experience in the industry. He has a strong background in networking, application development, and artificial intelligence. Rohit has led a team for designing the Jadavpur University Information Technology Departmental Website and currently serves as the webmaster of the website. He is also developing an Artificial Intelligence to position wireless routers in a closed environment for efficient triangulation of mobile nodes. Currently, Rohit is working as a Software Development Engineer 2 at Citrix. In this role, he is responsible for working on C# and PowerShell scripts for global cloud services. He ensures the transition of existing Test Case Automation to new systems and frameworks and manages the Instant Environment project, maintaining existing code base and adding new functionality. Prior to Citrix, Rohit worked as a Senior Software Engineering Manager at Microsoft where he led the Power Apps Interfaces Productivity charter out of Bangalore to enable and ensure maximum productivity for customers and consumers. Rohit's education history includes a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from Jadavpur University, where he also served as the Webmaster of the IT departmental website. He completed his schooling from M.P. Birla Foundation Higher Secondary School, where he pursued Science in both I.C.S.E and I.S.C. Rohit's technical expertise includes Senior Software Engineer, test, Mobile, Software Engineer, and UI. He has also been a judge in a flash game creation competition and a coordinator of the C Programming Competition.
