Rohit is passionate about building best-in-class products in the search and discovery space, and has a lot of experience in using AI and ML to deliver personalized and relevant experiences to users. He has a strong track record of success in building products and platform capabilities that apply machine learning and NLP in search, text analytics, sentiment analysis, summarization, personalization services, and recommendations. Before joining Amazon, Rohit worked as the Director of Product Management, Intelligence Analytics at LSEG, where he led a team of product managers and data scientists in the analytics platform group. He was responsible for building products and platform capabilities that applied machine learning and NLP in search, text analytics, sentiment analysis, summarization, personalization services, and recommendations. Prior to LSEG, Rohit worked as a Sr. Product Manager, Search, Personalization, and AI/ML Products at Refinitiv, where he was responsible for building best-in-class search and discovery experiences for financial users. He led the development of exciting products such as Autosuggest, Question Answering, Personalization, and Recommendations using machine learning and AI. Rohit holds an MS in Computer Science from Rutgers University and a B. Tech. in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University), Varanasi. He is well-versed in AI, ML, product management, AWS, search, sentiment analysis, NLP, data science, and research science.
