Rohit Panda is a highly skilled data scientist with a passion for machine learning. He began his career as a software engineer with Bosch but soon discovered his love for data science and completed his MTech in Computer Science from IISc. Rohit currently works as a Data Scientist at Flipkart, where he is part of the Fintech and Payments group working on the payments pipeline and various finance products. Rohit's expertise lies in the areas of machine learning where labels are hard to come by, including Domain Adaptation, Active Learning, Self Supervised and Contrastive Learning, and Counterfactual Inference. He is always eager to learn and has developed a keen interest in finance since joining Flipkart. Prior to his current role, Rohit worked as a Data Science Intern at Flipkart, where he developed DL-based solutions for detecting fraudulent ratings for the Trust & Safety team. He also worked as an SDE for Bosch's Sales & Distribution team, developing backend applications for the Automotive team. Rohit's educational background includes a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from Jalpaiguri Government Engineering College and a Master of Technology in Computer Science from IISc, which he is set to complete in December 2022. Rohit's technical skills include Data Scientist, Research Scientist, Software Engineer, ML, Deep Learning, and Backend.
