Rohit Potter is a 20-year-old Software Engineer at MAQSoftware with a passion for coding. He is a freshman and a Google Code-in 2018 mentor at FOSSASIA. Rohit is a competitive programmer and a two-star rated competitive coder on Codechef. He codes in languages like C, C++, Java, and Python. He has experience in developing software and has worked on projects like Meilix and Meilix-Generator of FOSSASIA. Rohit is also a member of fossasia/linux-devs. Rohit is a community member of Google Developer Group Jalandhar and a winner of Fossasia's Open Tech Night. He has created a command-line software called Whatsapp-Play, which is a software that lets you play with your WhatsApp. Rohit has also created a GUI for Spotify-Downloader named Spotify-Downloader-Music-Player. This GUI downloads YouTube songs in mp3 format and collects metadata from Spotify. Rohit is working on projects like Bakers, which is an Android application to buy and sell bakery items of nearby bakeries. He has knowledge of other programming languages like Rust, Dart, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Rohit has also done web development for the college project named ATM System. Rohit has a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science from Chandigarh University. He has worked as a Software Engineer Intern at MAQSoftware and as a Campus Ambassador at Coding Blocks.
