Rohit Sachan is a Senior Technology (Naphtha) Specialist with over 13 years of experience in the Basic Engineering/Operation/Commissioning & Pre-Commissioning/Workplace safety of Refinery and Petro-Chemical Sector. He graduated with a degree in Chemical Engineering from Dr. K.N. Modi Institute of Engineering and Technology, Modinagar, Ghaziabad in 2007. Currently, Rohit is working as a Senior Engineer at UOP, where he is responsible for the Design of Basic Engineering Packages of Various Technologies, including C5 & C6 Isomerization Unit, CCR Platforming & Regenerator, Oleflex Regenerator, and Naphtha Hydrotreating units. He represents UOP in Customer PFD & P&ID review meetings. Prior to this, Rohit worked as an Assistant Manager at HPCL, where he was involved in the Precommissioning & Commissioning of Isomerization & CCR Units. He also worked as a Process Engineer at Reliance, where he was responsible for the Precommissioning & Commissioning activities of CCR Platforming units. He was involved in the Installation & Inspection of Regenerator & Platforming Reactors Internals and the Startup of Platforming & Continuous Catalytic Regeneration Sections as a DCS engineer. He also conducted a study & calculation of Static Relief Load Calculation of CCR Platforming & NHT units and checked PSVs adequacy for target case. Rohit's education history includes a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Dr. K.N. Modi Institute of Engineering and Technology, Modinagar, Ghaziabad. He has relevant experience of 16.04 years in the industry. With his extensive experience and expertise in the field of Chemical Engineering, Rohit Sachan is an asset to any organization he works with.
