Rohit Sharma is a Lead Product Engineer at Cadence Design Systems, with over 6 years of experience in the field of Standard Cell Characterization, QA, modeling, and packaging of libraries. He has worked with MediaTek Bangalore and STMicroelectronics, where he gained expertise in Standard Cell Layout Design, Characterization, and QA of standard cell libraries. Rohit has hands-on experience in automation of manual tasks using scripts language like Perl, Shell, TCL to reduce the overall time and effort spent. He has also worked at Pyrotech Electronic Pvt Ltd. for 18 months. At Altran, Rohit worked with MediaTek on service, Standard cell characterization of various technologies like FinFet 10nm and 16nm, QA of Standard cell library of different technology like 10nm,16nm Finfet, and used tools like Spectra, Liberate, Primetime, Library Compiler, Leker, etc. At STMicroelectronics, Rohit worked as a Trainee in Digital Logic Team of TRnD Department for complete 1 Year. He has experience in library development/characterization of various CMOS technologies like 28nm including 28FDSOI, characterization for Timing, Power, Noise information, and various timing and power formats such as NLDM, CCS, ECSM, etc. Rohit has expertise in Characterization of various 8 track, 12 track, LVT, RVT cells/libraries as per the applications, such as High Performance, CLK, P&R, Level Shifter, Retention Cells, etc. using simulation tools like ELDO. He has good understanding of libraries views like Physical(CDL, SPI) used in ASIC flow and generation of different abstract views used in RTL to GDSII flow like Cadence(LEF), Synopsis(FRAM), etc. Rohit has completed his M.Tech from Nirma University and holds a Bachelor's Degree in Electronics and Communication from Maharaja College of Engineering, Udaipur. He has also completed his High School from Guru Nanak Public School, Udaipur. Rohit is a Software Engineer and QA with relevant experience of 6.79 years.
