Rohit Shorey is an accomplished entrepreneur and technology professional with over 15 years of experience in the industry. He is currently the Founder and CPO of Dawaibox, a cloud-based ePharmacy and Pathology Lab Aggregator Platform that offers medicine, OTC, and lab test ordering services, patient record management, and a database of over one lakh medicines. As the Founder and CPO of Dawaibox, Rohit has successfully led a team of 35 members, including software developers across cross-functional software (Frontend and Backend), Online Marketing, and Operations Teams. He has owned and managed the complete product development cycle from idea generation, product definition, prototyping, validating, testing, and launching in the market in phases. Additionally, he has managed the Online Marketing team and generated leads with Google, Facebook, and Social Media marketing at partner locations. Rohit has also connected 16 offline pharmacy stores from northern India on the platform to service local orders through a separate partner dashboard. He has successfully managed and shipped over 1.25 lakhs medicine, 60k OTC, and 4K Path lab tests orders of over 15,000 verified customers across north India. Before starting Dawaibox, Rohit worked at STMicroelectronics as a Project Manager, Staff Engineer, Technical leader, and Sr. Software Engineer. He participated and led a complete range of project activities, starting from conceptualization, development, testing, and coordination across different software teams. He developed different generations of Set-top-boxes (STB) software products with diverse Engineering and Design teams and stakeholders. He was a hands-on Technical and People Manager to deliver projects under all tough conditions and shown competency in organizational agility, cross-team collaboration, and drive for results. He also synergized globally dispersed cross-functional teams across India, Europe, and the US. Rohit's other past experience includes working as a Design Engineer at Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd, where he architected and designed Audio board and Hardware/Software Interface system of Black Box of India's Indigenously developed Light Combat Aircraft (LCA). Rohit holds an Executive MBA in Marketing and Strategy from IIM, a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Electronics Engineering from HBTU, and has also attended IIT Dhanbad.
