Rohit Soni is an experienced Engineering and Product professional currently building Aspire UPI Pay Later. With a passion for technology, automation, and finance, Rohit brings in full-stack expertise to build end-to-end product solutions. Prior to his current role, Rohit worked at Capital Float, an award-winning fintech startup in India, where he served as a Senior Decision Scientist. He was responsible for product design and underwriting policies, using in-house risk models built on data from traditional bureaus and alternate data for fully automated SME loans. He also revamped the underwriting policy for acquisitions in Amazon Pay EMI product, controlling risk while maintaining the approval rate. Rohit also worked as a Software Engineer and Decision Scientist at Capital Float, where he architected the in-house real-time decision-making and analytical framework for loan application underwriting and workflow optimizations. He revamped the Decision Engine for decision-making processes for the Amazon Pay EMI/MMT travel finance products. Rohit also set up automation pipelines for ML model development, deployment, and monitoring, reporting, lead management, and customer communication. Rohit holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Computer Science from NIIT University. He also completed his schooling from Vidya Mandir Public School and Shanti Vidya Niketan Public School. Rohit's technical skills include Senior Software Engineer, Software Engineer, Research Scientist, product designer, ML, and Parts-of-speech.
