Rohit Soni is an experienced Android developer with over 8 years of hands-on experience in developing mobile applications. He has worked on some of the most popular apps such as Walnut, GoJek Super App, Decathlon Online Shopping App, and Total Connect 2.0, among others. In his career, he has worked on 8 apps and has knowledge of various domains such as Fintech, Home Security, IOT, e-commerce, booking engine platforms, etc. Rohit has worked on Agile, Waterfall, and Spiral SDLC to deliver the product. He has a proven track record of using the latest guidelines and tools to make the product better with leadership abilities to believe in “Change is only for the good”. Currently, Rohit is working as a Senior Member of Technical Staff at Capital Float, where he is responsible for developing a finance management tool for users by reading SMS and showing them their spends. He has also rolled out no-cost EMIs and Paylater features to empower users to utilize most of the money they have. In the past, Rohit has worked as a Technical Lead at Gojek, where he contributed to the GoPayLater section of the app. He has also worked as a Technical Lead at Philips, where he worked on the Sleep+ app. This app was made for users who need doctor consultation for not having sleep. In this application, various reasons for daily routine activities are given, and based on activities, the user has given challenges to improve sleep experience. The app also has an alarm feature and user track feature. Rohit has a Master's degree in Computer Science from VIT and an Engineer's degree in Information Technology from Savitribai Phule Pune University. He has a diverse tech stack, including software engineering, Android, Java, Kotlin, Integration, UI, Dagger, and DevOps.
