Rohit Srivastava is an experienced SDET with over 8 years of experience in automation and functional testing, working in an Agile work environment. He has a strong background in Selenium Java, with experience in framework development, handling/creating large scale test automation framework using Selenium/Java/RestAssured, and BDD development with Cucumber. He also has experience with Karate framework for Microservices automation and framework development, and Microservices testing. Rohit has extensive experience in automating REST and SOAP web services, with sound knowledge of API(REST/SOAP) automation using TOSCA/UFT/Rest Assured/Karate framework. He has a good understanding of Elastic/Logstash/Kibana stack and is familiar with DevOps methodology – Docker, Kubernetes, Open Shift Cluster. He has worked with TOSCA test suites for over 5 years and has 1.5+ years of experience with UFT/QTP. Rohit has experience with Oracle SQL and IBMDB2 databases and has a strong knowledge of SDLC with proficiency in Requirement analysis, Test Case and Test Scenarios Creation, Test Execution, and Bug Reporting & Tracking. Rohit has worked with Deutsche Bank as an Associate, leading the project to deliver the complete quality assurance activities for the project, functional/automation testing of the features planned for releases, preparing test plans and release sign-off documents. He has also worked with BMC Software as a Sr SQA Engineer, responsible for end-to-end testing activities for BMC Helix Log Analytics (SaaS based product), test planning, functional/automation testing of the features planned for releases. Rohit has a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Electronics and Communications Engineering from McKV Institute of Engineering. He is currently working with Apple as an SDET. He has a relevant experience of 9.61 years and possesses a tech stack that includes test, SDET, Selenium, qa, Java, SQL, Microservices, Kubernetes, Docker, DevOps, Web, CI/CD, Jenkins, and Integration. Rohit has onsite exposure with European client for ABS implementation in Prague, Czech Republic and onsite exposure with African client for ABS/Sales Portal implementation in Casablanca, Morocco.
