Rohit Taneja is a highly knowledgeable and passionate individual who aspires to contribute to the world by solving some of the toughest problems that exist. As a polymath, he believes that setting the right culture is essential to running a successful technology venture. Rohit has over 11 years of relevant experience in the fintech and banking industry, with a focus on digital payments, blockchain, and sustainability and climate. Currently, Rohit is the Founder and CEO of Decentro, an automated API platform for banking integrations in India, APAC, and beyond. Backed by YCombinator and some great angels and venture funds, Decentro aims to reduce integration time by ~10X and capital expenditure by ~80%. Prior to Decentro, Rohit was a Venture Partner at First Cheque, where he invested in tech startups across the country with their partner network. He was also a Mentor of Change at Atal Innovation Mission. Rohit's educational background includes a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, and an Exchange Semester in Genie Des Informatiques from Ecole des Mines d'Alès. He also completed his 10+2 in Science and Social Sciences from Modern Vidya Niketan School.
