Rohit Vatsyayan is a seasoned People and Talent professional with over 8 years of experience in leading team and recruitment practices for technology and Product verticals across multiple startups and consulting firms. He is currently working as People and Talent at Klub, where he is responsible for leading in-house recruiting across the organization. He partners with hiring managers to discern workforce needs, define job parameters, outline desired qualifications, and source, screen, interview and select best-option candidates for skilled/technical trades. Rohit has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Jaipur National University. He started his career as a Technical Recruiter working with consulting firms and later with fast-growing product startups across multiple domains, solving recruitment problems on a large scale. He loves being hands-on, experimenting, and thinking outside traditional ways of attracting talent. At Klub, Rohit has played a dual role of a recruiter for senior roles and Manager of 4 recruiters. He has scaled up headcount by 2X from 50 to 100 within 6 months and scaled up the product engineering team by 5X from 5 to 25 within 6 months. He is highly metric-driven and very fluent in making dashboards and reports. He has taken ownership of payroll, probation completion process, policy, and part of the performance review process. Prior to Klub, Rohit worked as a Senior Manager Talent Acquisition at ZestMoney, where he was responsible for talent acquisition practice across all technology and product functions. He implemented a candidate experience survey to understand the effectiveness of recruiting efforts and course corrections based on candidate feedback. He was also the LinkedIn coach for the TA team, go-to person for training, mentoring & helping the TA team in finding, managing & engaging talents on the LinkedIn platform. Rohit has a strong educational background, having completed his Higher Secondary and Secondary School from Rose Public School. He is a tech enthusiast and has experience in QA, Data Science, and DevOps. In his free time, Rohit enjoys playing cricket, badminton, and table tennis, learning more about the cosmos or researching new technology and gadgets.
