Rohith AP is a highly skilled Staff Data Scientist with over 6 years of relevant experience in the fields of Computer Vision, NLP, and AI. He is currently working with SymphonyAI as a Staff Data Scientist, where he has been involved in developing a robust and improved Multi Organ Localisation model for 3D Organ Detection from Chest/Abdomen CTA. He has also developed a Deep learning based 3D Landmark Detection model for Cardiac CTA and obtained an improved average error metric of < 2mm, using Tensorflow 2.x. Rohith's past experience includes working as a Senior Software Engineer for General Electric, where he developed and optimized AI models for the Patient Monitoring System on video data. He also led the design, development, and delivery of a Deep Learning based NLP Engine to convert unstructured medical records into structured format with Spark NLP. At Alphaics Corporation, Rohith worked as an AI Engineer and developed various End to End Deep Learning applications for the inference accelerator at the edge. He also developed a novel machine learning technique that performs Self Supervised Continuous Learning at the edge and learns to classify new and unseen categories on the fly (Zero/Few shot Learning). Rohith has a Master of Technology (MTech) in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), where he also completed his Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Engineering. He has also completed a Summer Student program in Computer Vision from the Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata.
