Rolan Crasto is a skilled Senior Software Engineer with a passion for delivering mission-critical technology and business solutions to some of the most recognized brands on the planet. With 3 years of experience participating in the complete product development lifecycle of successfully launched applications, Rolan is proficient in Object-Oriented Design, Optimization, Machine Learning, Agile Methodology, Database Modelling, Software Testing, and Debugging. Rolan has extensive experience in building Java/Python/C++-based applications using appropriate data structures and algorithms. He is currently working at HERE Technologies as a Software Engineer II, where he is responsible for developing and maintaining software applications. In his previous role at qrc assurance and solutions pvt ltd, Rolan developed a SpringBoot website to find payment card data from servers & database called QRC dataFinder Tool. He also developed a Java-based GUI application called QRC Backup Tool, which does periodic backup of data to a central server. At Infineon Technologies, Rolan developed a cross-platform multithreaded application and an Electronic Design Automation (EDA) industry tool PAS, from scratch in C++. He designed the architecture and developed its CLI in C++14 which will be running in the main thread. PAS parses and processes the program file (perl file) which contains functionality viz. setting a signal bitwise to a value, fetching values of signals at some later timeline, Customized Parallel functions, etc. Rolan has a Master of Technology degree in Computer Science and Information Security from Manipal Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering from Agnel Institute. He is proficient in various technologies such as Software Engineering, Java, ML, Python, Spring Boot, Spring, Web, CI/CD, Jenkins, Integration, Frontend, and Backend. With a relevant experience of 5.69 years, Rolan is an enthusiastic software engineer who is always eager to work on challenging projects and deliver quality results.
