As a seasoned Software Engineer with 17 years of relevant experience, Roland Liwag is passionate about increasing developer satisfaction and productivity. Currently working at foresee, Roland is adding test coverage, refactoring legacy code, and experimenting with React + GraphQL with the rest of his team. His ultimate goal is to make developers happier. Prior to his current role, Roland worked at one.com as a Technology Analyst/Senior Software Developer where he played a lead role in architecture, deployment, automated testing, continuous integration, and scrum. He designed and developed 4 major web applications for One.com customers, including a blog, photo gallery, website builder, and web shop. He also facilitated meetings between various stakeholders and development teams as well as intra-team technical discussions. Roland used nodejs, express, React + Redux, Knockout, PostgreSQL, and docker extensively during his time at one.com. He also interviewed and evaluated candidates and mentored new hires. Roland's TechStack includes Software Engineering, testing, web development, CI/CD, NodeJS, Docker, Redux, and integration. He is always learning something new every day and is constantly looking for ways to improve his skills and knowledge.
