Ronak Patel is a Software Developer at IBM with over 1.35 years of relevant experience in the field. He is currently working as a Software Engineer In Test, where he is responsible for developing and testing software applications to ensure they meet the required quality standards. Ronak has previously worked as a Full Stack Engineer at Fidelity, where he developed Angular8 web applications to show accounts owned by an associate and provided actionable UI to transfer the ownership of an account or delete an account. He also developed NodeJS API to pull data from PostgreSQL and integrate with Angular8 web applications. Ronak followed best practices while developing Nodejs APIs by preventing SQL injections and used Postman to test NodeJS APIs. Before joining Fidelity, Ronak worked as a Software Quality Assurance Engineer Co-op at Kronos, where he developed API and UI tests using SoapUI and Selenium for Kronos’ Workforce Dimensions product to test various features. He also maintained and monitored automation tests using Jenkins to assure that expected results and goals are met for the product. Ronak collaborated in an Agile team environment to meet goals using tools such as Jira and Git. Ronak holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Massachusetts, which he is expected to complete in December 2021. He also holds a Highschool Diploma in General Education from Natick High School. Ronak has a strong technical background and is proficient in various technologies such as NodeJS, SQL, Selenium, Jenkins, and more. He has experience in software engineering, testing, SDET, web development, UI development, and QA. Ronak is a dedicated and hardworking individual who is always eager to learn and grow in his career.
