Ronak Prajapati is an optimistic and passionate engineering student at San Jose State University, actively seeking summer 2022 internships. He is always ready to find and solve problems, regardless of the field, and is passionate about exploring new theories, tools, and ideas. Ronak has 2.10 years of experience in the field of data science and is currently working as a Data Scientist - Software at IQM Corporation, where he has developed, deployed, and managed various production grade projects and pipelines. He has experience in handling raw data and creating data-driven insights with corresponding visualizations using Python, MySQL, PostgreSQL, AWS, Google DataStudio, Redash, and Snowflake. Ronak has also mentored an intern to create a content classification project. Previously, he worked as a Data Science Intern at IQM Corporation, where he built a pipeline that scraps content of the consumed media, performs entity level sentiment analysis, and displays audiences’ consumption patterns to derive unique insights and trends. He learned different tools and technologies, including Google DataStudio, Intellij & Flutter, AWS (S3, Athena, EC2), and Production Level Deployment Process. Ronak has experience in using Python, MySQL, AWS, Google DataStudio, Flutter, Flask, and Snowflake. Additionally, Ronak has worked as a Software Algorithms Engineer - ML/DL Intern at Fusion Informatics Limited, where he designed software for text detection and recognition with Tesseract OCR and Open-CV. He extended the same software to perform handwritten text recognition and applied Generative Adversarial Networks for generating a training dataset. He has experience in using OpenCV, OCR, TensorFlow, CNN, GAN, and Computer Vision. Ronak holds a Bachelor of Technology in Information and Communication Technology from Ahmedabad University and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Computer Software Engineering from San Jose State University, with an expected graduation date of December 2023.
