Ronak Tanna is a highly motivated Software Design Engineer at Apple with a passion for expanding his knowledge in Computer Science both theoretically and practically. With over 3.68 years of relevant experience, Ronak has a diverse background that includes working as a Graduate Research Assistant and Software Developer at The Luminosity Lab. During his time at The Luminosity Lab, Ronak developed several innovative solutions, including a simulation to teach supply chain concepts in healthcare using a React Native-driven mobile education app funded by USAID. He also implemented a web scraper in Python, BeautifulSoup to extract all public SEC filings into manageable JSONs for future textual analysis. Additionally, Ronak developed a solution to reduce the time it takes to park in an indoor, multi-story parking lot using algorithmically controlled LEDs, and he is currently developing a solution to model restaurant site selection for entrepreneurs using anonymized mobile ping data and sentiment analysis of public reviews. Ronak holds a Master of Computer Science degree with a concentration in Big Data Systems from Arizona State University, as well as a Bachelor of Technology degree in Information Technology from SSN College of Engineering. He also has a strong foundation in Computer Science, having studied the subject at St. Thomas Matriculation Higher Secondary School.
