Ronil Pancholia is a highly skilled software engineer and research scientist with a passion for applied machine learning, specifically in the areas of computer vision and natural language processing (NLP). He is currently working at Google as a software engineer on the Maps Machine Perception team, where he also completed a summer internship in 2019. Ronil has a Master's degree in Computer Science from North Carolina State University, which he completed in December 2019. During his time at NC State, he gained experience working with deep learning on classification tasks on social media, real-world, and medical imagery. He also has experience building large, scalable, and maintainable systems.
