Ronit Kumar is a seasoned software engineer with expertise in designing and developing cloud-native applications. He is an open-source enthusiast and contributor who helps organizations create highly scalable, distributed, and fault-tolerant environments for their applications and networks. Ronit has over 5 years of relevant experience and is currently working as a Software Development Engineer 3 at Adobe Developer Platform. Ronit's expertise lies in Java, Kubernetes, Python, Infrastructure Management, Microservices Scalability and Resiliency, Linux Networking, AWS Cloud, Kafka, Bash Scripting, and Ansible Automation. He has a proven track record of handling multiple migrations, including on-prem CICD to AWS Cloud, on-prem container registry to cloud registry, and implementing GitOps approach to set up CICD, API gateway management, and monitoring tools rollout on multiple environments. Ronit has also implemented AWS Operating Model across Membership Product and established Kafka monitoring, logging, alerts, and certificate management across multiple products. Before joining Adobe, Ronit worked as a Site Reliability Engineer at the membership and payments team of Adidas Global, where he designed and developed an automated tool for enabling the setup of monitoring dashboards and alerts in real-time with dynamic thresholds covering all major KPIs. He also handled multiple migrations, implemented security enhancements in CICD pipeline, and established Kafka monitoring, logging, alerts, and certificate management across multiple products. In his previous role as a Senior Software Engineer at ACL Digital, Ronit contributed as a developer in an open-source project recognized by Linux Foundation. He developed microservices-based applications on cloud-native network functions, deployed them as containers, and orchestrated them via Kubernetes. Ronit also created an Edge Computing Solution for aggregate and edge devices, designed interfaces for API communication to handle 5G network function's asynchronous calls using gRPC, and developed an infrastructure automation tool using Ansible, Python, and k8s to deploy and orchestrate end-to-end infrastructure solutions for edge computing of a major telco. Ronit holds a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering from Manipal Institute of Technology and is currently pursuing his MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode, which he is expected to complete in 2024. He also completed his High School from Kairali School.
