Rono Jacob is a seasoned product leader with extensive experience in building and launching SaaS and on-premise solutions for enterprise storage and configuration automation. With over 17 years of relevant experience, he has worked with both large enterprises and startups. Currently, Rono is the Director of Product Management at Druva, where he is responsible for product ownership of CloudRanger, a SaaS-based platform for data protection and disaster recovery of AWS cloud environments. He has successfully planned and executed product roadmaps and go-to-market strategies, managed technical partnerships, and launched enterprise products. In his previous roles at Druva, Rono served as the Principal Product Manager and Senior Product Manager. In the former, he built and launched a platform for data management as a service and was responsible for launching Druva's data protection and data lifecycle management offering for Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Platform as a Service (PaaS) workloads in public cloud like AWS. In the latter, he was responsible for building and launching Druva's data protection offering for SaaS applications like Microsoft Office 365, G Suite, Box, and Salesforce. Rono also owned inSync Share, an enterprise file Sync & Share solution, and has experience in pricing and packaging of product offerings. Rono holds an MS degree from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, and a BE degree from Savitribai Phule Pune University. His technical expertise includes product management, AWS, infrastructure, and Salesforce.
