Roopasree Ranganna is an accomplished and passionate engineering professional with over 18 years of IT industry experience in varied domains such as insurance, licensing and compliance, IT infrastructure, wealth management, oil and energy industries, data intelligence and business. She has also gained 1+ year of start-up experience, setting up the team, defining services, developing new technology and service capabilities, managing customers and delivering services from offshore locations. As the Director of Engineering at Dell Technologies, Roopasree is responsible for influencing 100m+ revenue by managing accounts/portfolio’s worth more than 15m+. She has developed and delivered agile practices in large teams and is a seasoned technologist responsible for end-to-end design and implementation of products/projects in Microsoft, Cloud (Azure and AWS), Microservices, API, Open Source, automation and orchestration tools, and Robotic Process Automation tools. Her core area of expertise is in Cloud strategy, Microservices, API Development and Management, RPA, Automation and orchestration, Mobile strategy, DevOps, Product Management, Program Management (SDLC, Agile, etc.), Applications/Automation (Delivery Management). Roopasree has additional expertise in IT Service Management (ITIL v3), IT Data Quality, IT Information Management, IT Vendor Management, IT Resource Management, IT Asset Management, and Business Process Automation. She has worked across varied tactical and strategy positions involving Technology, Project/Program/Portfolio Management, Business Operations, Quality, and Operations verticals. Roopasree has also been involved in developing, coaching, and mentoring teams/individuals. She has experience in working across different cultures and globally distributed teams in Asia, Middle East, Europe, UK and US. She has been involved in developing new services, customer relationships, and new customer accounts. Roopasree's past experience includes working at First American as an Associate Director – Software Operations and Senior Manager - Software Operations. In these roles, she was responsible for overall delivery, development, and managing Mortgage Services division products/Application of First American using Agile Delivery Model (Scrum and Kanban). She was also responsible for overall technology strategy like Cloud strategy (AWS/Azure), Mobile Strategy, UI/UX, Information/Cybersecurity, Regulatory and compliance audits. Roopasree holds a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from RVCE and a PUC II degree from Sarvodaya Pre University, Tumkur.
