Roopesh Nair is a Full-stack Developer and DevOps Engineer with over 9 years of experience in all phases of the software development lifecycle. He is an entrepreneur with 4+ years of experience in bringing synergies between teams and managing critical projects. Roopesh is currently a Contributor at Vauld and has previously worked at NIRA, Sporthood, Seynse, Pricify, and HeyLeela. Roopesh enjoys roles that involve translating business requirements into technical solutions, what one would call as a Technology Enabler. He is always seeking to learn and grow as a professional, and he endeavors to create seamless experiences on the canvas of digital. Roopesh is passionate about creating usable, responsive, holistic experiences for consumers and communicative and sustainable platforms for clients. Roopesh has a strong technical background and is proficient in AWS, Web3, Integration, infra, DevOps, Backend, Web, and Android. He has relevant experience in software engineering, senior software engineering, and testing. Roopesh holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Computer Science and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) Hons. in Computer Science from Christ University, Bangalore. In his previous role as Lead Software Engineer at NIRA, Roopesh handled end-to-end integration with Indian Banking systems (S2S) from lead creation to Automated payouts to customer’s Bank Accounts. He also designed and co-built the Data infrastructure and facilitated deployments, built and owned E-mandate (NACH) registration and payment integration with Digio for all partners, and automated the EMI communications automation service. Roopesh was also responsible for starting and owning the Information Security Practices, drafting and implementing Information Security Policies, and starting and owning Application Security testing practices. Additionally, he was a mentor to fellow developers, leading a team of 8. At Sporthood, Roopesh was a Senior Software Developer and led the initial web app builds. He also led and owned the builds for the B2B platforms for partners and trainers (Web, Android App, and Backend APIs) and contributed to backend APIs, managed builds, and deployments for the customer app APIs. Roopesh worked with a stack that included Django, ReactJS, ReactNative, AWS, DigitalOcean, and Fab-file.
