Roshan DARUKA is a passionate frontend developer with over 6 years of experience in the industry. He is currently working as an Engineering Manager at Rippling, where he is responsible for hiring senior engineers and engineer managers. Roshan is highly skilled in Javascript and has a keen interest in innovation in software architectures. He has a diverse skill set that includes expertise in NodeJS, ReactJS, UI, Infra, and Microservices. In his previous role as a Senior Software Engineer at Rippling, Roshan worked on the customer-facing product Payroll, which consists of 30+ unique routes used by 10k customers/month. He built features that no other HR SASS product provides and collaborated with 6 teams across 3 time zones to make the product resilient and awesome! Roshan was also responsible for hiring the best brains and improving code quality and performance to serve the UI at the Enterprise scale. Prior to Rippling, Roshan worked at Walmart as a Software Engineer 3. He worked on the Seller Center product, bringing the 3rd party vendors' journey in Walmart to a joy. He made intuitive UIs and flows to make 3rd party vendors' life easy and worked on shipping flows, inventory management, and integrating with all internal microservices to keep data in sync within systems. Roshan also implemented an onboarding flow to improve the setup time from 15 days to 2 days and took the user count from 6k to 20k. Roshan holds a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University), Varanasi.
