Roshani Narasimhan is a Software Development Engineer at AWS Lambda, currently working with Amazon. With a passion for modeling real-life problems into computer science problems to find meaningful insights, Roshani has a keen interest in a range of domains in computer science, including machine learning, network science, data analysis, data structure and algorithms, and software engineering. Roshani has a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from North Carolina State University, which she completed in 2021, and a Bachelor of Technology in Information and Communication Technology, with minors in Computational Science, from Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information and Communication Technology, which she completed in 2017. Her education has equipped her with a strong foundation in computer science and has provided her with the necessary skills to excel in her current position. Prior to her current role, Roshani worked as a Graduate Grader at North Carolina State University, where she evaluated theoretical and programming assignments for the Artificial Intelligence course along with the TA. She also provided grades and feedback to around 55 students enrolled in the class. Additionally, she worked as a Research Assistant at North Carolina State University, where she worked on Computational Biology and Machine Learning. Her responsibilities included capturing the results from biological experiments effectively, using data storytelling, performing literature surveys from NCBI databases to aid text corpus generation using BioPython modules, and customizing data analysis results using machine learning techniques such as K-means clustering and t-SNE to suit specific user groups such as students, clinicians, and patients. Roshani's technical skills include software engineering, AWS, machine learning, BERT, and web development. With almost three years of relevant experience, Roshani has demonstrated her ability to excel in her field and has a proven track record of delivering high-quality work. Her passion for computer science and her desire to learn and grow in her field make her a valuable asset to any team.
