Rounak Sarda is a highly motivated Graduate Engineer Trainee at NEC Corporation with a passion for learning and implementing new technologies to solve problems. He is a resilient individual who loves to work in a startup culture, and finds automating tasks to be a fun challenge. Currently, Rounak is working on managed Kubernetes, EKS at NEC Corporation. Prior to this, he explored RedHat OpenShift and used PODS for his final year project. From May to September 2020, he worked on Hyperconverged Infrastructure, utilizing technologies such as Django, MongoDB, OpenStack, Zabbix RESTApi, Python OS Module for scripting, and Server Config Handling. As the project was of IaaS, he integrated the APIs to get the metrics for new VM created on OpenStack Dashboard. From September to December 2020, he created a dashboard for projecting hardware level metrics for resources (RAM, NIC) allocated to newly created VM. In December 2020 to mid-January 2021, he worked on Constraint Programming Using Choco-Solver, Allocation of resources from a specific domain, and made allocation effective by putting constraints on resources. He utilized Java Apache poi for Excel file reading. Currently, he is exploring AWS Distro for OpenTelemetry for the metrics. Rounak has also worked as an intern at vkreate, where he used NodeJS and MongoDB to create a website for the startup to showcase the subscription plans and integrated it with Razor Pay payment gateway. He came up with both user and admin dashboard. Rounak holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Computer Engineering from Amity University, where he graduated in 2020. He is proficient in AWS, Kubernetes, MongoDB, infra, Python, Django, and Java. With 3.03 years of relevant experience, Rounak is a valuable asset to any team looking for a passionate and dedicated engineer.
