Roy Shell is a Senior Full Stack Engineer with a passion for creating magic through his work. He is currently employed at Versatile, where he continues to hone his skills and work on exciting projects. With almost two years of relevant experience, Roy has worked with some of the biggest names in the industry. He was previously employed at X-Team, where he developed RESTful APIs using Node.JS, TypeScript, and Hapi. He also created and edited React components and middleware, implemented complex responsive UI/UX using CSS/LESS, and mentored interns. Roy also developed a web-scraper API using Puppeteer and Cheerio and developed stand-alone services in NodeJS. He wrote tests using Jest and Sinon to ensure that the code he wrote was of the highest quality. Before joining Versatile, Roy worked as a Software Development Consultant on a freelance basis. He designed, crafted, and developed web applications and websites for startups, software companies, and entrepreneurs. He provided technological guidance regarding development strategies and paradigms, improved and optimized existing products, and developed end-to-end web applications using NodeJS, GraphQL, and React. He generated and implemented UI/UX and used PostgresQL as a database management system. Roy has a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Mathematics from The Open University of Israel and completed his high school education at Alliance High School, where he studied Physics. He has a strong tech stack that includes NodeJS, UI, Web, JavaScript, TypeScript, Redux, Frontend, and Software Engineer. Roy is a highly motivated individual who is always looking for new challenges and opportunities to grow. He is a team player who enjoys collaborating with others to achieve a common goal.
