Roylen Topno is a highly experienced Scrum Master with a proven track record of success in facilitating Agile development methodologies within cross-functional teams. He is currently working as a Senior Specialist - Data Engineering (Scrum Master) at L&T Infotech, where he leverages his expertise in Scrum, Agile, and SAFe 5 to drive project success. With 16.95 years of relevant experience, Roylen has worked with some of the top companies in the industry, including EY and Trianz. At Trianz, Roylen served as a Senior Technical Lead, where he successfully guided a development team through the transition from Waterfall to Agile development and built a new Scrum Team. He facilitated Backlog Grooming, Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective meetings and monitored the development progress throughout each sprint to ensure the project was within scope. Roylen also identified and mitigated team risks and impediments (Blocking Issues & Critical Defects) on a daily basis. Roylen has a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Information Technology from KIIT University. He is a Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), KMP-1, and SAFe 5 Agilist. He is also proficient in different phases of testing like Sanity Testing, Smoke Testing, Functional Testing, GUI Testing, Regression Testing, Integration Testing, System Testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Roylen has experience working in Windows and UNIX environments and is proficient in different technologies such as Data Engineering, test, infra, Senior Software Engineer, and Integration. Roylen is a highly motivated and results-driven professional who is passionate about driving project success through Agile methodologies. He has a proven history of successful work with cross-functional teams and is skilled in using KPI Metrics (Burndown chart, team velocity, etc.) to track progress and help move the team to a more efficient model. Roylen is an excellent communicator and collaborator who can work with Senior Management, Business & Release Management to understand the vision of the product, prioritize and develop software release planning.
