Rubal Chib is an engineer turned entrepreneur who is passionate about technology innovation and its social impact. Currently, he is the Co-Founder and CEO of qZense Labs, where he is building an end-to-end IoT+AI solution for fresh food quality assessment and management. Rubal's mission is to reduce inefficiencies in the fresh food supply chain using data-driven decision making. Rubal has an impressive track record of accomplishments, including being featured in MIT Technology Review for his work with DUNZO, being featured in Forbes Asia 100 to Watch in 2021, and being featured in Shark Tank India. He has also won the NABARD-ONDC HACKATHON and has been awarded NASSCOM Emerge50 in 2020. Moreover, he has been backed by Reliance's flagship accelerator, JioGenNext, and has received the prestigious research grant BIRAC BIG by DBT, Govt of India. Rubal has worked with Entrepreneur First as a BA1 Fellow, where he brought together extraordinary people from across the world to build deep tech companies from scratch. He has also worked with Havells India Ltd as a Project Lead and Senior Engineer in R&D, where he handled the development of Smart Home Projects at CRI and managed a research project in collaboration with IIT Delhi. He was also a core member involved in setting up the Innovation department and worked on the development of a Hydroponic system based on MIT MediaLab Open Agriculture Initiative. Rubal has a strong educational background, having completed his B.Tech in Electronics & Communication Engineering from RBIT and his 12th from Army Public School (APS) in Science (Physics, Chemistry, Maths). He is currently pursuing the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Women Program in Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies from IIM. Rubal's tech stack includes AI and Research Scientist, and he has relevant experience of 10.37 years. He is dedicated to transforming the fresh food supply chain with data and is committed to making a positive social impact through his work.
