Ruchik Gaikwad is a Senior Software Engineer and Team Lead with over 5 years of relevant experience. He has a strong expertise in building high-volume transactional customer-facing platforms, which are modular and scalable. Ruchik is proficient in NodeJS on the backend and AngularJS on the frontend, and has also worked with Java and Spring-boot. He is currently working on a SaaS platform that deals with automation in the hospitality industry, where he is responsible for end-to-end feature delivery and ensuring the culture of engineering disciplines such as code quality checks, unit-testing, and code reviews. Ruchik follows the Agile way to create sprints and ensure their delivery in the duration of 2-3 weeks. He is also responsible for creating continuous integration/delivery pipelines, and has deployed platforms using AWS services such as ECR and EC2. Ruchik has led small software teams in an Agile way, to meet the deliverables on time and has created a positive feedback loop, where the team stays up-to-date with the client needs in a fast-paced environment. He has also designed and engineered solutions with the architect in lead. Ruchik has experience in working with microservices architecture, and has used Git as the version control, MongoDB as the database, and Elastic Cache Service(Redis) as cache. He has also used Typescript for code sanity. Apart from his professional front, Ruchik is an audiophile and likes to listen to music and strum a few chords of his favorite songs. He holds a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Bharati Vidyapeeth.
