Ruchika Kapoor is a highly experienced strategy, planning, and business development professional with over 16 years of experience in the ag-life sciences sector. She is currently based in Singapore and works as the Regional Portfolio & Business Development Manager at FMC Corporation. Ruchika started her career as an IT consultant after completing her Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Telecommunication from Madan Mohan Malaviya University of Technology. She later pursued an MBA from INSEAD and moved on to strategy, business, and portfolio management roles at Bayer, DuPont, and Syngenta. At Bayer, Ruchika led the APAC Marketing organization for a growing Seeds Division, where she drove new product launches for pest and disease-resistant crops, expanded into new geographies, implemented strategic initiatives to engage customers and value chain, and set the overall direction for future portfolio. Ruchika has a particular passion for digital transformation of traditional R&D based industries and has chosen to pursue the 6 months certification program by BCG Rise - specializing in Digital Transformation and Change Management. She has also completed an Executive Program in Internet of Things: Business Implications and Opportunities from MIT Sloan School of Management and a Startup School from Y Combinator. Apart from her professional work, Ruchika volunteers at the INSEAD Technology club, mentors and advises startups, and has a keen interest in traveling, yoga, good books, movies, and wine. She is happily married to Bhagyesh and blessed with two children.
