Rumit Dugar is a seasoned senior management professional with over 17 years of experience in the equities business and technology industry. Passionate about investing and value creation, he possesses a strong track record of leveraging technology to solve real-world problems. Rumit is highly skilled in investment research, investor relations, strategy, M&A, finance, capital raises, IPOs, and cost management. Currently, Rumit works as a Software Engineer at Infosys, where he provides IT consultancy on ERP solutions based on Oracle Applications 11i. He is responsible for effort estimations on developments and preparing cut-over strategies. He has also worked on the full cycle implementation of Oracle 11i/iStore. Rumit underwent training at the Infosys Leadership Institute and was chosen as a member of the Self-governance team for his excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and leadership skills. In the past, Rumit has worked as an Equity Research Analyst at JP Morgan, where he was part of the II ranked team and covered Indian IT, European Software/IT services, and Indian Telecoms. He worked on new initiations with building out investment thesis, complete financial models, and company analysis, writing stock and industry research. He was also involved in tech IPOs and was one of the early teams across investment banks to cover gaming companies across Europe. Rumit completed the Asia Investment Banking Analyst Training program at JP Morgan. Rumit has also worked as a Senior Equity Research Analyst at Alchemy, where he led coverage for Indian TMT. He was responsible for stock and industry-specific research and had a strong domestic fund and insurance investor franchise. Rumit holds a Master of Business Administration degree in Finance from SP Jain and a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science from Vishveshwaraiah Technological University. He is a research scientist and has relevant experience of 16.86 years.
