Ruomin Ba is an experienced Software Engineer II at MicroStrategy, with a strong background in session management, service-oriented architecture, and microservices. Before joining MicroStrategy, Ruomin worked as a Machine Learning Engineer Intern at Precise Software Solutions, Inc. Here, he used deep learning algorithms to solve counterfeit drug detection problems and leveraged One Class Classification algorithms to implement no counterfeit sample required model training. He also built up counterfeit drug detection hardware and software systems. Ruomin also worked as a Research and Development Engineer Intern at Origin Wireless AI, where he researched on the Virtual Antenna Alignment based non-line-of-sight indoor tracking system and analyzed and designed tracking system algorithms. Ruomin has a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Electrical Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, and a Master of Science degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Maryland. He has a diverse range of skills, including software engineering, machine learning, computer vision, microservices, Python, Java, deep learning, and research science.
